At Ark Shepherd Huts, each project is built by hand and to order - customised to your individual wishes and whims. If you can dream it, we’ll work with you to turn it into reality.
An Ark shepherd hut is an investment we want you to use and enjoy for many years to come, so we aim to deliver flexible, year round usable spaces tailored to your intended use and location. Not too big, not too small - just right!
Whilst there are no hard and fast rules, we generally recommend working with a width of eight feet (any smaller can be a compromise on interior space and therefore versatility). Depending on your requirements and site access, we can build up to a width of nine feet. Length can vary between 12 feet and 20 feet.

Each one of our huts is built using Structural Insulation Panels on an individually hand crafted wooden chassis with your choice of external cladding materials under a beautiful and fully insulated arched roof. We have a wide range of door and window options and configurations to choose from, all hand made to order, together with a good selection of paint colours. We will work with you to design and furnish the interior to your own specifications, whether you're just after a simple internal fit or a full kitchen and bathroom.
